Basketball Recap: South Fayette Takes a Loss

South Fayette has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They came up short against the Baldwin Highlanders on Tuesday, falling 62-36. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 114th, while the Highlanders are ranked 20th).

South Fayette's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Baldwin, they pushed their record up to 16-1 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

South Fayette will host Peters Township at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Baldwin, they are taking a road trip to face off against Ringgold at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
