Basketball Recap: Four Straight Home Wins for Damonte Ranch

Damonte Ranch extended their home winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Drew Dodson. The Damonte Ranch Mustangs walked away with a 66-56 win over the Bishop Manogue Miners on Monday thanks in part to Dodson, who dropped a double-double on 32 points and 12 rebounds. His evening made it 16 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

When it comes to explaining why Bishop Manogue lost, don't look at Eli Benna. Despite the final result, he went 5 of 12 on his way to 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Alvarez, who posted ten points.

Damonte Ranch's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Bishop Manogue, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 11-9 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Damonte Ranch will challenge Reed at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Damonte Ranch is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 63.7 points per game this season. As for Bishop Manogue, they will take on Douglas at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bishop Manogue also hasn't been messing around on offense: they've averaged 57 points per game.
