University's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They slipped by the Hamilton Yankees 27-26. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 14-0 victory the Yankees walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

University found their leader in sophomore William Biddle, who rushed for 75 yards and a pair of TDs. Messiah Burton was in the mix too, providing the Wildcats with one score.

University was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 207 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hamilton only rushed for 41.

Despite the loss, Hamilton still got an impressive performance from Thaddeus II Breaux, who threw for 310 yards and four touchdowns while completing 82.4% of his passes, and also rushed for 41 yards.

University's record is now 6-1. As for Hamilton, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. University will take on rival Palisades at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Hamilton is set to challenge their familiar foe Westchester at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. That game will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Breaux and Wyatt Orr.
