Basketball Game Preview: Frederick Bombers vs. Ryan Cowboys

The Frederick Bombers will take on the Ryan Cowboys at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Frederick is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Turpin just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 61-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinals. The matchup marked the Bombers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Ryan entered their tilt with Thackerville on Monday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 51-43 win over the Wildcats.

Ryan's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.9 points per game. As for Frederick, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3.

Everything came up roses for Frederick against Ryan when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 68-34 win. Does Frederick have another victory up their sleeve, or will Ryan turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
