Basketball Recap: Bishop Kenny Victorious

Bishop Kenny saw some tournament action on Friday. It was close, but they capped 2024 with a 45-43 win over the Charlotte Latin Hawks. The 45-point effort marked the Crusaders' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Bishop Kenny has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season. As for Charlotte Latin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bishop Kenny will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Westside at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Charlotte Latin, they will take on Hammond at 6:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
