Hueneme is a perfect 10-0 against Channel Islands since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 3:30 p.m. Hueneme hasn't scored more than two runs for four games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

Buena hit Hueneme with a seven-run second inning last Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Vikings lost 15-0 to the Bulldogs.

Meanwhile, Channel Islands got the win against Carpinteria two weeks ago by a conclusive 15-4. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Raiders.

Hueneme's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Channel Islands, the win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-7.

Everything went Hueneme's way against Channel Islands in their previous matchup back in February, as Hueneme made off with a 10-2 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
