Maclay lost against North Bay Haven Academy back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Maclay Marauders took a 46-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Bay Haven Academy Buccaneers. The Marauders' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Kaylee Goodpaster was her usual excellent self, going 12 for 25 en route to 31 points in addition to seven boards and three steals for North Bay Haven Academy. The contest was Goodpaster's third in a row with at least ten points. Ally Brady was another key player, putting up three points along with 11 rebounds and three steals.

Maclay's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for North Bay Haven Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-8.

Maclay will challenge Taylor County at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Maclay is facing Taylor County at the right time seeing as Taylor County is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for North Bay Haven Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Altha at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
