Covington hadn't done well against Mandeville recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Covington never let Mandeville get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Lions sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Covington's victory bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Mandeville, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-15.
