Preview: Franklinton vs. Louisburg
On Friday, Louisburg are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Franklinton at 7:00 PM. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against Louisburg, but that can only make success all the sweeter.
It could have been worse for Louisburg, but it could have been a whole lot better too, as the team fell 6-26 to Bartlett Yancey last Friday.
Meanwhile, everything went Franklinton's way against Bunn last week as they made off with a 41-14 win. Franklinton was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the rankings had forecast.
Franklinton's victory lifted them to 3-0 while Louisburg's loss dropped them down to 1-1. We'll find out if Franklinton can add another positive mark to their record or if Louisburg can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Franklinton's step.
