Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Muhlenberg County). They blew past the Todd County Central Rebels 15-0 on Monday. The Mustangs' pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last three contests.

Muhlenberg County is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for Todd County Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-10.

Looking ahead, Muhlenberg County will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Hopkinsville at 5:30 p.m. The timing is sure in the Mustangs' favor as the squad sits on seven straight wins at home while the Tigers have been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
