Volleyball Recap: Tupelo T's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

Tupelo T can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Starkville Academy Volunteers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in August.

Tupelo T was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 9-25, 25-13, 25-19.

Tupelo T's win bumped their record up to 3-10. As for Starkville Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-12.

Tupelo T wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Tupelo Christian Prep on the 9th. As for Starkville Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hamilton at 6:30 p.m. on the 18th.
