Basketball Game Preview: Douglass Bulldogs vs. Eureka Tornadoes

The Douglass Bulldogs will challenge the Eureka Tornadoes at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 59-26, which was the final score in Douglass' tilt against Trinity Academy on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 332nd, while the Knights are ranked 158th).

Meanwhile, Eureka was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They lost 69-45 to Neodesha.

Douglass has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Eureka, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-12.
