Bosqueville is 3-0 against Rio Vista since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Bosqueville Bulldogs will face off against the Rio Vista Eagles at 7:30 p.m.

Bosqueville is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Meyer just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They were outmatched by the Ravens and fell 84-51. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bulldogs have suffered since December 30, 2024.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Tuesday Rio Vista sidestepped Meridian for a 67-65 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Bosqueville better keep an eye on Dawson Macklin. He was instrumental in Rio Vista's win, dropping a double-double on 36 points and 12 boards. Macklin is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. Anthony Zepeda was another key player, putting up seven points and eight rebounds.

Rio Vista was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in November of 2024.

The victory got Rio Vista back to even at 13-13. As for Bosqueville, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-6.

Bosqueville beat Rio Vista 52-42 in their previous meeting back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bosqueville since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
