Basketball Recap: Brandon Valley's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Brandon Valley extended their postseason success on Thursday against Jefferson. They strolled past the Jefferson Cavaliers with points to spare, taking the game 55-41. This was a revenge game for the Lynx: when they faced off against the Cavaliers back in December of 2024, they had to take a 62-56 defeat.

The victory (which was Brandon Valley's fourth in a row) raised their record to 19-3. As for Jefferson, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 9-12 record.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Brandon Valley won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Harrisburg at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Harrisburg has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 202 points over their last three contests. As for Jefferson, they will also get right back to it: they'll challenge O'Gorman at 1:45 p.m. on Friday. O'Gorman knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Jefferson likes a good challenge.
