Monomoy kept a clean sheet against Martha's Vineyard Regional on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over the Vineyarders. This was a revenge game for Monomoy: when they faced off against Martha's Vineyard Regional on September 4th, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

Monomoy's one-goal win came courtesy of Tate Laramee, who's now up to five this season.

Monomoy's win bumped their record up to 3-4-2. As for Martha's Vineyard Regional, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Monomoy will welcome Falmouth at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Martha's Vineyard Regional, they will host Barnstable at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Barnstable will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Martha's Vineyard Regional surely won't give up without a fight.
