Football Recap: Oakridge Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Oakridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 36-16 to the Monroe Dragons. The Warriors were not able to make up for their loss to the Dragons from their previous meeting back in September of 2023.

Despite the loss, Oakridge still got an impressive performance from Rowdy Williams, who threw for 172 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 11 passes, and also rushed for 53 yards.

Oakridge's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Monroe, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Oakridge will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Toledo at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. As for Monroe, they will challenge Lowell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with the Dragons sitting on three straight wins and the Devils on five.
