Softball Recap: Bellflower Buccaneers vs. Cerritos Dons

Bellflower was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 12-1 to the Cerritos Dons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Buccaneers of the 11-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2021.

Bellflower saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Crystal Menchaca, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI. Valery Wilches also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
