Football Game Preview: Post Falls Trojans vs. Battle Ground Tigers + How To Watch

The Post Falls Trojans will head out on the road to challenge the Battle Ground Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Post Falls came up short against Glacier Peak and fell 30-18. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Battle Ground fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Cascade Christian on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 26-23. The loss was the Tigers' first of the season.

Post Falls will need to focus on slowing down Xavier Ortegon, one of several Battle Ground players who made an impact when they last played. He rushed for 103 yards and one touchdown. Battle Ground also got a significant boost from Miles Skov, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 82 yards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Battle Ground fell to 3-1. As for Post Falls, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Everything came up roses for Post Falls against Battle Ground in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 45-6 victory. In that game, the Trojans amassed a halftime lead of 35-6, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
