Volleyball Recap: Kylin Vandever's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Willard over Lebanon

Willard was the 3-1 winner over Lebanon when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers fell just short of the Yellowjackets by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Willard's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kylin Vandever, who had 19 digs. Ashlyn Hurd was another key player, getting 11 digs and two aces.

Willard's loss dropped their record down to 20-9-4. As for Lebanon, their win bumped their record up to 11-16-3.

Willard has already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Republic on the 14th. As for Lebanon, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Carthage on the 14th.
