Basketball Game Preview: Olympia Titans vs. St. Cloud Bulldogs

The Olympia Titans will take on the St. Cloud Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Olympia heads in on the heels of a playoff matchup on Friday. They took a blow against Windermere, falling 68-35. The contest marked the Titans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, St. Cloud suffered their closest loss since January 10th on Friday. They fell just short of Harmony by a score of 49-46.

Olympia will have to contain Alex Springs as he made an impact in St. Cloud's last game. He went 7 for 11 to rack up 15 points. Springs is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Julian Fox, who posted 11 points and eight rebounds.

St. Cloud's defeat dropped their record down to 23-4. As for Olympia, their loss dropped their record down to 18-10.

Olympia was able to grind out a solid win over St. Cloud in their previous meeting back in January of 2020, winning 65-56. The rematch might be a little tougher for Olympia since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
