Basketball Recap: Northside Extends Home Winning Streak to Five

Northside hadn't done well against Coffee recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Northside Eagles strolled past the Coffee Trojans with points to spare, taking the game 63-49. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 182nd, while the Trojans are ranked 400th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Northside pushed their record up to 14-11 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.4 points over those games. As for Coffee, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 17 of their last 18 matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-22 record this season.
