Hersey is headed into the match having just suffered their closest defeat since December 27, 2023 on Saturday. They fell just short of Glenbrook South by a score of 42-40.

Meanwhile, Rolling Meadows took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 59-31 win over Buffalo Grove. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 21 points or more this season.

Rolling Meadows has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32.2 points. As for Hersey, their loss dropped their record down to 14-11.

Hersey took their victory against Rolling Meadows in their previous matchup on January 10th by a conclusive 44-19. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hersey since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
