Lamar was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 65-53 to the McDonald County Mustangs. One positive for the Tigers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Lamar's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lamar will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off.
