Baseball Recap: Summit Academy Gets the Win

Summit Academy was handed a ten-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Tuesday. They skirted past the American Leadership Academy Eagles 7-6. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-2 back in March.

Talin Hill made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Summit Academy is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 2-11 otherwise. Hill was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

In other batting news, Cooper Derbidge was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Hunter Dewitt, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
