Cobden's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Agape Christian Knights as they made off with a 9-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Appleknockers, who have now won four contests by seven runs or more so far this season.
Abby Pitts made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit. Pitts was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
