Softball Recap: River Falls Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when River Falls faced off against Middleton on Saturday. The Wildcats fell 10-5 to the Cardinals.

River Falls saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was AVA LARSEN, who went 3-for-4 with one run. MCKENNA COOK also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

River Falls dropped their record down to 5-6 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Middleton, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Looking ahead, River Falls will face off against Hudson at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Middleton, they will challenge Holmen at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
