Softball Recap: Hayes Pacers vs. Big Walnut Golden Eagles
It may have taken ten innings to finish the job, but Hayes ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 victory over the Big Walnut Golden Eagles. The Pacers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Golden Eagles, too.
The team relied heavily on Lizzy Gould, who went 2-for-5 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple marked the first that she hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Flynn, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two RBI.
