Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Edwards). They walked away with a 53-43 win over the Winona Tigers on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for Edwards as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Edwards' win bumped their record up to 6-13. As for Winona, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-14.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Humphreys County the next time they take the court. Winona will host Humphreys County at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Edwards will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
