Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cinco Ranch). Everything went their way against the Mayde Creek Rams on Friday as they made off with a 17-1 win. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Cougars with their most commanding win of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for Cinco Ranch and bumps their season record up to 12-15-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for Mayde Creek, they dropped their record down to 2-18-1 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home.

Looking ahead, Cinco Ranch will take on Morton Ranch at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mavericks have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed eight runs per game on average), something the Cougars will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Mayde Creek, they will challenge Seven Lakes at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
