Softball Recap: Payne Tech Comes Up Short

Luzmarie Ortiz made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Payne Tech's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Montclair Kimberley Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, Payne Tech and Montclair Kimberley Academy will both be playing Millburn the next time they take the field. The Lions will head out to face the Millers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Cougars will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
