Softball Recap: Albany Takes a Loss

After flying high against Slaughter Community Charter last Wednesday, Albany came back down to earth. The Hornets lost 18-9 to Lakeshore on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Hornets have suffered against Lakeshore since February 27, 2016.

Albany's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Lakeshore, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Albany will head out to square off against Hammond at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lakeshore, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against French Settlement at 12:00 p.m. on March 28.
