Arvada won the last time they faced Manual and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Thunderbolts by a score of 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-14, 21-25, 27-25, 25-13.

Lilly Rice paced Arvada's offense, picking up 11 kills. Rice got some help from Lily Heck and her 11 assists. Finally, Heck was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high eight blocks.

Several Thunderbolts players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Savannah Hogarth, who had six aces.

Arvada's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Manual, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
