Magdalena's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They blew past the Animas Panthers 3-0. The win was some much needed relief for the Steers as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-16, 25-11.

Magdalena's victory bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Animas, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Magdalena is set to square off against their familiar foe Reserve at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Animas will challenge rival Quemado at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
