Softball Recap: Pacifica Comes Up Short

Pacifica was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Rio Mesa Spartans, falling 9-1. The Tritons were not able to make up for their defeat to the Spartans from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Pacifica saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dimyla Aupiu, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases.

Pacifica's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Rio Mesa, they pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

While Pacifica had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
