Basketball Recap: Tippecanoe Valley Comes Up Short at Home Against Dekalb

Tippecanoe Valley unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 67-43 to the DeKalb Barons on Wednesday.

Tippecanoe Valley lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was William Mellott, who posted eight points and four steals. Hunter Stage was another key player, putting up seven points.

Coming up, Tippecanoe Valley is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will challenge NorthWood at 7:45 p.m. on Saturday. As for DeKalb, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Eastside at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
