Volleyball Recap: Mead Comes Up Short

Mead lost against Brownell Talbot back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Mead fell 2-0 to Brownell Talbot. Mead has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Brownell Talbot scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-17.

Mead's defeat dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Brownell Talbot, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Mead has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Osceola on the 11th. As for Brownell Talbot, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Conestoga on the 11th.
