Soccer Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short

Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Madison Golden Knights, falling 8-0. If Lincoln were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to Madison when the teams met back in October of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Madison, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.

Coming up, Lincoln will take on John Jay at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Madison, they will head out to take on Roosevelt at 4:00 p.m. on the 16th.
