South Broward had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.3 goals) and they went ahead and made it nine on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Miramar Patriots an 8-0 shutout. Give the Bulldogs' defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Their offense was hitting Miramar from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Lucas Velazco led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

South Broward's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those six games. As for Miramar, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-10-1.
