Recap: Valley Vikings vs. Las Vegas Wildcats
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Clark, the Valley Vikings were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They took down Las Vegas 34-16. This was payback for Valley, who suffered a 54-19 loss the last time these two teams met.
Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Quinn Steidler led the charge by scoring 8 points along with 6 steals. Kalea Collins was another key contributor, scoring 5 points along with 10 steals.
Valley now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Las Vegas, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Valley will take on Eldorado at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Las Vegas, they will head out on the road to face off against Centennial at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
