Volleyball Game Preview: Rockford East E-Rabs vs. Hononegah Indians

Rockford East hasn't had much luck against Hononegah recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The E-Rabs will face off against the Indians at 7:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, Rockford East came up short against Rockford Auburn and fell 2-0.

While Rockford East ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Hononegah beat Freeport 2-0 on Tuesday.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Hononegah was: they took both sets by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-13.

Hononegah is on a roll lately: they've won 21 of their last 23 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-6 record this season. As for Rockford East, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-17.

Rockford East couldn't quite get it done against Hononegah when the teams last played back in April as they fell 2-0. Can the E-Rabs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
