Pine and Lincoln Park Academy are an even 3-3 against one another since December of 2017, but not for long. The Pine Knights will venture away from home to face off against the Lincoln Park Academy Greyhounds at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Pine is headed into Tuesday's contest hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight losses. They took a 64-46 bruising from Westwood on Friday.

Meanwhile, you're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Lincoln Park Academy two weeks ago. Everything went their way against Master's Academy as Lincoln Park Academy made off with a 57-36 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Greyhounds have posted since January 26, 2024.

Lincoln Park Academy's win came from a few key players Pine will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Tamario McLeod, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten boards. Those 12 points gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyon Johnson, who posted 11 points and four steals.

Pine's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Lincoln Park Academy, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-9.

Everything came up roses for Pine against Lincoln Park Academy in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 64-36 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pine since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
