Baseball Recap: Trinity Christian Victorious

Trinity Christian won against Peninsula Catholic on Friday with seven runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. The Trinity Christian Gryphons walked away with a 7-3 win over the Norfolk Christian Ambassadors. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Gryphons.

Ethan Tiede was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Gardner, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-4.

Trinity Christian's record now sits at 3-1. As for Norfolk Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity Christian will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Grace Christian School at 4:30 p.m. on March 25th. As for Norfolk Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Oscar Smith at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Norfolk Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.
