Football Recap: Plainview Pirates vs. Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Bears
Plainview extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping them up to 5-1. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Bears 63-12. The Pirates might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 24 points or more this season.
Gage Walton produced another solid performance rushing for 91 yards and five touchdowns on only ten carries, while also picking up 63 receiving yards. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Walton was just one part of a punishing run game: Plainview was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 270 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.
