Basketball Game Preview: ED White Commanders vs. Oakleaf Knights

ED White is 0-3 against Oakleaf since December of 2019 but things could change on Friday. The Commanders will host the Knights at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

ED White will bounce into Friday's matchup after beating Menendez, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. The Commanders put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 49-26 win on Tuesday. The Commanders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Oakleaf posted their closest victory since January 24, 2025 on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Ribault 59-56. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

Oakleaf's win bumped their record up to 9-11. As for ED White, their victory bumped their record up to 13-7.

ED White couldn't quite get it done against Oakleaf in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 as they fell 48-36. Can the Commanders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
