Softball Recap: Mineral Springs Has No Trouble Against Dierks

Mineral Springs won the last time they faced Dierks and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Hornets put the hurt on the Outlaws with a sharp 11-4 win. Considering the Hornets have won three games by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Mineral Springs' victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Dierks, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Mineral Springs and Dierks will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Hornets will challenge rival Mount Ida at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Dierks is set to take on their familiar foe Foreman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
