Volleyball Recap: Fieldcrest Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Fieldcrest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lexington Minutemen. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

While Fieldcrest had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-18.

Fieldcrest's loss dropped their record down to 3-6-2. As for Lexington, they pushed their record up to 13-2 with the victory, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Fieldcrest will face off against Roanoke-Benson at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lexington, they will host Woodland at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
