Recap: Gouverneur Wildcats vs. Fonda-Fultonville Braves
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Gouverneur Wildcats can now relate to. They suffered a tough 22-0 loss at the hands of Fonda-Fultonville on Friday. It was the first time this season that Gouverneur let down their fans at home.
Gouverneur's defeat dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Fonda-Fultonville, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 12-1.
Gouverneur does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Fonda-Fultonville will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against O'Neill at 12:00 p.m. on November 25th. O'Neill will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New York Rankings (they are ranked 253rd, while Fonda-Fultonville is ranked 70th).
