Volleyball Recap: Oswego East Find Success

Oswego East won the last time they faced Romeoville and things went their way on Thursday too. The Wolves came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolves.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Oswego East was: they took both sets by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-15.

Tyler Vlcek paced Oswego East's offense, picking up seven kills. Vlcek got some help from Max Coleman and his 18 assists. Vlcek was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

The victory got Oswego East back to even at 8-8. As for Romeoville, their loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-17.

Coming up, Oswego East will take on St. Rita in a tournament on Friday. As for Romeoville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Yorkville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
