Basketball Recap: Augusta Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Augusta can now relate to. They were dealt a 65-34 loss at the hands of the Chester-Joplin-Inverness Hawks on Friday. The Elks' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Augusta's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Chester-Joplin-Inverness, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Augusta nor Chester-Joplin-Inverness have any future games scheduled.
