Horseshoe Bend had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the Isabella Mustangs get on the board and left with a 14-0 win on Monday. Considering the Generals have won 13 contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

With the victory, Horseshoe Bend broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 21-8-1. As for Isabella, their loss dropped their record down to 7-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Horseshoe Bend beat the Mustangs by a score of 15-0 later that day.
